2008 VALUES NOW DISPLAYED The 2008 PROPOSED VALUES AND ESTIMATED TAXES for each property in Manatee County are now displayed on the Values tab through the Property Search function. The presentation of the page has changed significantly to show the impact of Amendment One. The tax estimates are based on the 2007 tax (millage) rates. The 2008 Notices of Proposed Property Taxes are scheduled to be mailed on August 18th and the values and estimated taxes will be updated on the website at that time. ---------------------------------- All address change requests must include the property owner's signature. Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead contact the office by phone or in writing.
MAIL-IN HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION APPLICATION Any homeowner who has moved into a new home in Manatee County may now file for homestead exemption for 2009 by mail, as soon as they establish residency in their new home on or before January 1, 2009. The filing deadline is March 1, 2009. This procedure will make applying for homestead exemption even faster and more convenient. The homestead exemption application, instructions and brochures may be obtained by printing them from our website or by calling our office at 748-8208. All mail-in applications must be mailed to P.O.
